The first batch of manned and logistics unmanned aerial vehicles for Zhuhai Wanshan Islands low-altitude economic demonstration project held a delivery ceremony in Yunfu. Yihang Intelligent delivered five EH216-S unmanned manned aircraft and one VT20 series logistics unmanned aircraft to Zhuhai Wanshan Development Group. This marks a big step forward for Wanshan Ocean Development Experimental Zone to build the first domestic island low-altitude economic application scenario.
The five EH216-S unmanned manned aircraft delivered this time, also known as "flying taxis", can carry two people, with a maximum takeoff weight of 620 kg, a maximum range of 30 km and a wide field of vision. This model will be applied to the first unmanned manned aircraft sightseeing route built in Wanshan Ocean Development Experimental Zone. At present, EH216-S has obtained type certificate, production license and standard airworthiness certificate issued by Civil Aviation Administration of China.
The VT20 series logistics unmanned aerial vehicles will be used to build the first public logistics route of island unmanned aerial vehicles in China, and realize application scenarios such as low-altitude logistics distribution of unmanned aerial vehicles from land to island.
According to the relevant work arrangements of Wanshan Ocean Development Experimental Zone, Wanshan Development Group reached a strategic cooperation with Yihang Intelligent and Feitianxia Company at the beginning of the year, and established Wanyi Tianxia (Zhuhai) Aviation Co., Ltd. to jointly carry out the low-altitude economic unmanned aerial vehicle project in Wanshan Islands. The project will be built in three phases, with an estimated total investment of 130 million yuan. It is planned to build application scenarios such as air logistics, medical materials transportation, island manned sightseeing, and land-island manned transportation, and gradually build a low-altitude economy "Wanshan model". Among them, the investment in the first phase of the project is about 30 million yuan, and digital dispatching center, Guishan Island low-altitude economic demonstration center, Tangjiagang UAV logistics operation base and exhibition center will be built respectively.
