Developing low altitude economy is a major strategic deployment made by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and it is also a key direction for Jiangsu Province and Wuxi City to layout strategic emerging industries. In recent years, Yixing has conscientiously implemented the relevant deployment requirements of the Provincial Party Committee and Government, as well as the Wuxi Municipal Party Committee and Government. It actively seizes the opportunities of the new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation, and regards cultivating and strengthening the low altitude economy as a key and important part of developing new quality productivity. Since 2015, it has actively laid out and built the "Sky City", and has successfully attracted more than 40 enterprises such as Daoniu Haiyi and Huabin Aviation East China Base. It has a number of projects under construction worth over 100 million yuan, including the final assembly of medium and large emergency aircraft and the China Hungary Aviation Industry Cooperation Demonstration Park. The application of low altitude economy in new scenarios and new formats is constantly enriching, and the Dingshu Low altitude Economy Industrial Park is accelerating construction. At the same time, we actively expanded the "friend circle" of the low altitude economy, reached cooperation with more than 10 universities and colleges, gathered more than 300 industry talents, built more than 10 industrial carriers, implemented more than 50 industry university research cooperation projects, and promoted the formation of a low altitude economy development pattern that started early, gained momentum, and grew rapidly.
Promoting high-quality development of the low altitude economy relies on the key support of talent. While Yixing is making every effort to attract low altitude economic projects, construct carriers, and apply scenarios, it has always attached great importance to the cultivation of low altitude economic professionals, planned talent training mechanisms early, and actively guided and strongly supported Wuxi Vocational and Technical College of Technology to establish a low altitude industry college. The establishment of the Low altitude Industry College this time will rely on the industrial advantages of the Dingshu Low altitude Economic Industrial Park, integrate vocational education resources in Wuxi, actively introduce high-end scientific research resources from universities such as Beihang University and Nanjing University, and introduce high-quality professional resources from international alliances and industry associations. Efforts will be made to build a modern industrial college that is closely connected with the industry, has industry demonstration, academic influence, and social service capabilities. We will make every effort to attract and cultivate strong talents in the low altitude industry, and continuously inject "fresh water" into the high-quality development of Yixing's low altitude economy.
