On November 23rd, the first China (Shaoxing) Low altitude Economy Exhibition opened in Yuecheng District, Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province, with an exhibition area of about 20000 square meters, attracting about 200 manufacturing and flight service enterprises to participate.
Former Director of the Civil Aviation Administration of China, Eric Li, stated at the opening ceremony that from a historical perspective, the development of human society is essentially a process of continuous improvement accompanied by the transformation of transportation modes. The arrival of the low altitude economy will further change people's production and lifestyle, shaping a new image of the city.
It is reported that the exhibition, with the theme of "Starting from the Core and Walking towards the Sky", covers four parts: "Meeting", "Exhibition", "Performance" and "Learning", focusing on showcasing the achievements of national low altitude economic development, innovative achievements of leading enterprises, and industry solutions.
At the static results exhibition, various products such as drones, eVTOL (electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft), helicopters, navigation equipment raw materials and components, software and systems were showcased, attracting more than 500 different types of aircraft.
This low altitude economy exhibition is also a technology feast shared by the whole nation.
On the evening of the opening ceremony, 1000 drone swarms performed by the Didang Lake in Yuecheng District, showcasing elements such as low altitude economy, including drone express delivery, chip transformation, and meteor shower. It is reported that it was created by the original team of the Paris Olympic Light and Shadow Show, with a total of about 15 images.
At the three-day exhibition, the organizers also arranged more than 10 drone performances, allowing visitors to enjoy the operation and performance of eVTOL up close and experience drone application scenarios such as agricultural crop protection, power inspection, and urban firefighting up close.
Official data shows that by 2025, the market size of China's low altitude economy will reach 1.5 trillion yuan. At present, various regions across the country are intensively entering the market to seize the new track of low altitude economy.
The location of the event - Yuecheng District relies on various advantages such as good low altitude opening conditions and integrated circuit industry to actively develop low altitude economy. For example, it has taken the lead in building a comprehensive service center for low altitude economy in Zhejiang Province and opened the first normalized urban low altitude logistics route in Zhejiang Province.
As a platform for showcasing the development of the national low altitude economy, the China (Shaoxing) Low altitude Economy Exhibition will be held in Yuecheng District for three consecutive years. At the opening ceremony, a batch of major projects covering the entire low altitude economy industry, devices, systems, and other fields were signed, with a total amount exceeding 13 billion yuan.
In order to support the growth of the low altitude economy, the local government recently issued the "Several Policy Measures to Support the High quality Development of Low altitude Economy in Yuecheng District", which proposed 23 measures from six aspects: taxation, land, finance, talent, capital, and finance, intending to use "real money and silver" to promote the high-quality development of the industry.
